How does the model list stay current?
The list ships inside the extension, so a new model arrives with an update and costs you nothing extra. This page is generated from the extension on 11 September 2026, which means the launcher can be a release ahead of it.
Does every model cost the same?
No. OpenRouter bills each one at the provider's own rate, from a few cents per million tokens to several dollars. Since you set the model per chat and per command, the expensive ones only run where you point them.
Where is my OpenRouter key stored?
In your browser's extension storage, on the machine where you pasted it. Keys never sync to our servers, and every request goes from your browser straight to OpenRouter.
Do free OpenRouter models work?
You pick from the 77 models the extension ships with rather than typing a model id, and the free routes OpenRouter lists are not among them today. Cheap is well covered, though. GLM 5.3 Flash runs the built-in commands for cents per million tokens.
